Multidisciplinary Center for Oncology and Surgery

Medical Innovative Technologies LLP (MIT) implemented a project to equip the East Kazakhstan Regional Multidisciplinary Center for Oncology and Surgery with a state-of-the-art Elekta Versa HD linear electron accelerator.

The project was implemented with the financial support of the Qazaqstan halqyna Public Foundation as part of a charitable program aimed at developing the oncology service in the East Kazakhstan Region.

As part of the project, MIT provided a full range of services — from preliminary preparation of the premises to equipment delivery and commissioning. The company’s specialists carried out construction and installation works to refurbish the premises for the linear accelerator in the radiology building of the radiation therapy center, installed and commissioned the linear accelerator, and provided training for medical personnel on the operation of the equipment.

Elekta Versa HD is a modern radiation therapy system designed for highly precise treatment of oncological diseases. The system supports advanced radiation therapy technologies that enable highly accurate treatment planning while taking into account the individual characteristics of each patient and the location of the tumor.

The scope of supply also included a PTW dosimetry system and Orfit immobilization devices, which are essential for ensuring the accuracy and reproducibility of radiation therapy procedures.
