On May 19, 2023, the grand opening of a monument took place in Semey, designed to embody accuracy, reliability, and uniformity of measurements in various spheres of our life. The structure is based on weights as a symbol of mass measurement, a sphere representing time and space, and ribbons around the sphere symbolizing length.
