Sanatorium “Almaty” MC of the President's Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty)

The sanatorium is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment for prevention, diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation.

The sanatorium has a comprehensive diagnostic department, including an X-ray unit, ultrasound systems, a clinical diagnostic laboratory equipped for ELISA, immunological and PCR diagnostics, as well as endoscopy, ENT diagnostics, gynecology and urology services. The facility also includes a dental room equipped with a dental X-ray unit and a dental laboratory.

The rehabilitation equipment includes an automated mud preparation system for therapeutic mud applications.

Balneological equipment enables a wide range of therapeutic procedures using thermal mineral water. The physiotherapy department is equipped with modern multifunctional systems for electrotherapy, ultrasound, laser, magnetic, thermal and microwave therapy.

For the first time in the Republic of Kazakhstan, a preventive healthcare facility was equipped with a modern cryotherapy chamber. The treatment method involves exposing the entire body to a laminar flow of dry, cooled air at temperatures ranging from −60°C to −120°C. This procedure stimulates the body's cold-adaptation mechanisms and can be used as part of rehabilitation programs for various conditions.

A sleep disorders diagnostic system enables the assessment of sleep disturbances, including chronic hypoxic conditions and insomnia, and supports the selection and monitoring of appropriate treatment.
