Republican Diagnostic Center for 500 visits per shift (Astana)
The Republican Diagnostic Center in Astana, designed to accommodate 500 patient visits per shift, is a medical cluster facility with a total area of 20,000 sq. m. The center was commissioned in July 2008.
One of the facilities of the Medical Cluster established on the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The 20,000 sq. m facility houses the following structural departments: outpatient consultation departments for adults, adolescents, and children; Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory; Functional Diagnostics Department; Ultrasound Diagnostics Department; Endoscopy Department; Day Hospital; Ambulatory Surgery Department; Radiology Department; Nuclear Medicine Department.
One of the innovations introduced among healthcare organizations in the Republic was the integration of two interconnected information technologies into the diagnostic and treatment process: an electronic queue management system and a clinical information system.
The facility was commissioned in July 2008.
