On October 2, the International Conference “Current Issues in Neurosurgery and Neurology” was held at the Rixos President Astana Hotel in Astana. The conference was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the outstanding scientist and Professor Leonid B. Likhterman.
Medico-Innovative Technologies (MIT) acted as a sponsor of the event, supporting an important professional gathering that brought together leading specialists in the fields of neurosurgery and neurology.
On behalf of the entire MIT team, we would like to congratulate Leonid B. Likhterman on his remarkable 95th anniversary! His many years of scientific, professional, and educational work have made a significant contribution to the development of neurosurgery. We are honored to be part of this special event and to join in celebrating a distinguished scientist whose name holds a special place in the history of neurosurgery in Kazakhstan and worldwide.
As part of the conference, the MIT booth showcased advanced technological solutions from Brainlab, designed to support precision, efficiency, and safety in neurosurgical procedures.
Conference participants had the opportunity to learn more about the Brainlab KICK navigation system, a modern surgical navigation solution that provides visualization of anatomical structures and supports the surgeon’s spatial orientation during surgical procedures.
The booth also featured Magic Leap 2 augmented reality glasses with Mixed Reality Viewer software, enabling the visualization of medical images and anatomical data in a three-dimensional environment and offering new possibilities for interaction with medical imaging.
The technologies presented attracted considerable interest among conference participants and provided an opportunity for professional dialogue, experience sharing, and discussion of the prospects for introducing innovative solutions into neurosurgical practice.
MIT thanks the conference organizers for the opportunity to participate in this important professional event and to support the continued development of neurosurgery and neurology.
MIT — innovative technologies for the advancement of modern medicine!
