City Hospital No. 2 for 360 beds (Astana)
A 360-bed multidisciplinary city hospital in Astana, with 28 clinical and diagnostic departments and a fully implemented electronic document management system.
Out of 360 beds 205 are of surgical purpose and 155 beds of therapy profile. Hospital’s structure consist of 28 departments, in which hospitalization of patients therapy, cardiology, rheumatological, neurologic, and pulmonolgical profiles.
Hospital providing broad range of surgical aid, structure includes gynecology, urology, otolaryngology, surgery, cardiosurgery, and eye microsurgery departments.
For the first time in the practice of a city hospital, emergency interventional cardiology and arrhythmology services were introduced.
The hospital became the first medical institution in the Republic of Kazakhstan to fully transition to electronic document management as part of the paperless workflow concept established under the Unified Health Information System.
