MIT — Partner of the 10th World Congress of the Walter E. Dandy Neurosurgical Society

On June 27–28, the 10th World Congress of the Walter E. Dandy Neurosurgical Society took place in Astana. This significant event brought together leading specialists from around the world to share knowledge and cutting-edge experience in neurosurgery.

We, the team at “Medical Innovative Technologies” (MIT), are proud to have become the official partner of this congress. We showcased the most advanced neurosurgical solutions from our partners — Leica Microsystems and Brainlab.

A highlight was our latest neurosurgical microscope Leica ARveo 8 — an intelligent imaging system designed specifically for complex neurosurgical procedures. What makes it stand out?

  • GLOW800 Technology: Allows surgeons to visualize both anatomical structures and blood flow simultaneously in real time using fluorescence imaging with augmented reality.
  • Revolutionary 4K 3D Visualization: Every detail becomes clear and spatially vivid, ensuring the whole surgical team remains fully engaged in the procedure.
  • Integration with Brainlab Navigation Systems: The microscope works in conjunction with navigation, providing exceptional precision and control at every stage of the surgery
  • Surgeon Comfort: Flexible ergonomics and digital control help the surgeon stay fully focused on the patient.

We also presented the following innovations:

  • Brainlab Mixed Reality Viewer: A surgical planning tool using mixed reality technology — allowing users to literally “step into” a 3D model of the patient’s brain.
  • Интеграция Leica ARveo 8 с Kick Brainlab: A seamless connection between the microscope and navigation system that delivers unprecedented surgical accuracy.
  • Leica MyVeo: A personal mobile headset that gives surgeons individual access to real-time visualization.

As the exclusive distributor of Leica Microsystems and Brainlab in Kazakhstan, we the MIT team are actively introducing these advanced technologies to local medicine. If you have ideas for collaboration or want to learn more — feel free to reach out to us anytime!
