Advanced Neurosurgical Technologies: MIT at the 6th Congress of Neurosurgeons of Kazakhstan

On June 5–6, 2026, the 6th Congress of Neurosurgeons of Kazakhstan took place in Karaganda, bringing together leading neurosurgeons, researchers, and representatives of the medical industry. The event served as an important platform for discussing cutting-edge technologies, current challenges, and future directions in neurosurgical care.

MIT participated as a Gold Sponsor of the Congress and showcased advanced neurosurgical solutions from globally recognized industry leaders Brainlab and Leica Microsystems, for which the company serves as the exclusive distributor in Kazakhstan.

At the exhibition area, participants had the opportunity to explore the Brainlab Kick navigation system, a state-of-the-art solution for highly accurate intraoperative navigation. The technology provides surgeons with real-time information about the location of anatomical structures, helping to enhance both the safety and effectiveness of surgical procedures.

A major point of interest for visitors was the Mixed Reality Viewer system, which demonstrated the potential of mixed reality technologies in neurosurgery. Using specialized smart glasses, clinicians can visualize three-dimensional anatomical models and patient data in an interactive environment, creating new opportunities for surgical planning, education, and training.

MIT also presented information on Leica Microsystems neurosurgical microscopes, which are widely used in complex microsurgical procedures. Leica solutions are renowned for their exceptional image quality, ergonomic design, and innovative technologies that enable surgeons to achieve the highest levels of precision during surgery.

Participation in the Congress provided MIT with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the latest innovations in neurosurgery, discuss the evolving needs of healthcare institutions, and strengthen collaboration with the professional medical community.

MIT extends its sincere gratitude to the organizers and participants of the 6th Congress of Neurosurgeons of Kazakhstan for the productive discussions and strong interest shown in the presented solutions. We remain committed to making advanced global technologies accessible to healthcare institutions across Kazakhstan and to supporting the continued development of high-tech neurosurgical care in the country.
