MIT together with Nurbank JSC provided charitable assistance to the Scientific Centre for Paediatrics and Children’s Surgery JSC

Cell technologies based on the use of stem cells are developing quite intensively all over the world. The Scientific Centre for Paediatrics and Children’s Surgery has been engaged in haematopoietic stem cell transplantation for more than 10 years.

Very important for the treatment of patients with oncological and haematological diseases is the possibility of rapid freezing of stem cells with subsequent cryo-storage.

Over the period of the Centre’s operation, the need for an additional cryopreservation facility with greater capacity for storing transplants has arisen.

Our company together with JSC ‘Nurbank’ supplied to JSC ‘Scientific Centre for Paediatrics and Children’s Surgery’ a cryogenic system of 10K series with automatic level control of filling level, manufactured by IC Biomedical.

This system is equipped with a special program that constantly monitors the level and temperature required to preserve the quantity and quality (viability) of stem cells, refilling liquid nitrogen automatically to the required level.

Thanks to the delivery of the new cryopreservatory, the Centre is now able to help more young patients receive program treatment.
