The doors of the new operating rooms at the National Scientific Center of Surgery named after A.N. Syzganov have been officially opened.
On June 6, the official opening of two operating rooms took place at the JSC “National Scientific Center of Surgery named after A.N. Syzganov.”
For nearly 80 years, the National Scientific Center of Surgery named after A.N. Syzganov has been performing the most complex procedures based on the best global practices in all areas of surgery. The center is the alma mater for several generations of the country’s leading surgeons.
Opening the doors of the operating room, the Chairman of the Board of the National Scientific Center of Surgery named after A.N. Syzganov, Professor and Academician B.B. Baymakhanov, thanked MIT for their gratuitous assistance with the renovation and equipment of the operating room, and also shared the scientific center’s plans. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company “Medical-Innovative Technologies” (MIT), M.D. Guterman, noted that the opportunity to implement this project in Kazakhstan’s leading center of surgery is a great honor for MIT.
As part of the project, our company carried out renovation work in two operating rooms, connected by a single preoperative area. We equipped one of the operating rooms with modern equipment from our partner, a leading global manufacturer, Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics (China).
The supplied equipment includes an operating table, LED surgical light, the latest model of an anesthesia system, monitors, a medical gas distribution console, an infusion pump, and a defibrillator.
The advanced technologies used in the development of this medical equipment expand the possibilities of surgical treatment and enhance the safety of procedures. The ergonomic design of the equipment improves working conditions for staff in the operating rooms.
As part of the event, a workshop was held with representatives from the medical equipment manufacturer, Mindray, demonstrating the capabilities of the equipment.
The new operating rooms are planned to be used for organ and tissue transplantation. The National Scientific Center of Surgery named after A.N. Syzganov is renowned for performing the first kidney transplant in Kazakhstan and Central Asia in 1978, followed by liver and other organ transplants.
We hope that our gift to the center will benefit many patients in need of complex, high-tech surgeries, providing them with many years of full life. It will also offer doctors and nurses at the center excellent working conditions.
