MIT and the Public Fund “Qazaqstan Halqyna” are implementing a project to supply the Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator to the oncology center in Ust-Kamenogorsk
«Medical Innovative Technologies» (MIT) has commenced the implementation of a project to equip the East Kazakhstan Regional Multidisciplinary “Center of Oncology and Surgery” with a state-of-the-art electron linear accelerator — Elekta Versa HD.

The project is financed by the Public Fund “Qazaqstan Halqyna” as part of a charitable program aimed at developing oncology services in the East Kazakhstan region. Coordination is carried out by the Kazakh Institute of Oncology and Radiology.
Within the framework of the project, MIT provides a full cycle of services: equipment supply, construction and installation works for bunker preparation, installation and commissioning of the accelerator, training of medical personnel, and putting the system into operation.
The Elekta Versa HD is one of the most advanced radiation therapy systems available today. It enables highly precise cancer treatment using technologies such as IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, and SRS/SBRT. The delivery package includes a PTW dosimetry system and Orfit immobilization devices. Commissioning is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
The introduction of this new linear accelerator in Ust-Kamenogorsk will significantly improve access to radiation therapy for residents of the East Kazakhstan region. This will have a direct positive impact on patient survival rates and quality of life, as modern radiation therapy techniques allow for highly targeted tumor treatment while minimizing exposure to healthy tissues.
MIT is the official distributor of Elekta Solutions AB (Sweden) in Kazakhstan.
