Signing of a Long-Term Agreement with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)
Medical Innovative Technologies (MIT) has signed a long-term agreement with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) to supply modern equipment for the perinatal service of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
UNFPA is a leading UN agency working in more than 150 countries to improve women’s and youth health, ensure access to essential medical services, safeguard maternal and child health, and support reproductive health programs.
Under the signed agreement, at the request of the Fund, MIT will supply equipment that meets international quality standards, including:
- modern fetal monitors for mother and child health monitoring;
- neonatal resuscitation and life-support systems (anesthesia and respiratory devices, ventilators, patient monitors);
- consumables for neonatal and obstetric departments
The agreement is concluded for a three-year period, beyond equipment and consumables supply, it also covers maintenance and training of medical and technical staff, ensuring long-term sustainability and improved efficiency of perinatal services in Uzbekistan.
MIT has already established successful partnerships with UN agencies, including UNOPS (United Nations Office for Project Services), where it contributed to projects in oncology and sanitary and epidemiological service.
