A contract has been signed for the supply of the Exactrac X-ray positioning system from Brainlab (Germany)

On August 8, 2023, MIT signed a contract with Municipal State Institution “Public Health Department of the City of Almaty” for the supply of the Exactrac X-ray positioning system to the Almaty Oncology Center.

The ExacTrac Dynamic system provides highly precise irradiation across a broad range of patient positioning and monitoring workflows, including the treatment of cranial localizations. The system combines real-time X-ray-based tracking with revolutionary surface temperature tracking technology, ensuring incredibly high accuracy.

The four-dimensional thermal imaging camera correlates the thermal signature with a 3D reconstruction of the patient’s body surface, creating a reliable and highly accurate hybrid surface map. To achieve this, the system captures 300,000 points of the three-dimensional surface and aligns them with the thermal signal generated by the thermal imaging camera, introducing a new dimension to track their positions.

MIT is the exclusive distributor of Brainlab (Germany) on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
